UG with three grants in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education's Vectors of Science programme

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the first results of the Vectors of Science programme, which aims to subsidise conferences and scientific monographs. The University of Gdańsk received three grants (two in the Conferences module and one in the Monographs module) for a total amount of over PLN 185,000.

The main objective of the Vectors of Science programme is to support entities related to science and higher education in presenting the latest scientific achievements by subsidising the publication of scientific monographs and the organisation of scientific conferences. The maximum amount of funding for a single project is PLN 400,000 in the Conferences module and PLN 80,000 in the Monographs module.

In the first round of the programme, three scientists from the University of Gdańsk received funding:

  • Dr Marcin Rojszczak, prof. UG, from the Faculty of Law and Administration, for the monograph ‘Unlawful speech in EU digital law’
  • Dr hab. Maja Chacińska, from the Faculty of Languages, for the organisation of the conference ‘50 years of Scandinavian studies in Gdańsk: Scandinavianists in the face of changes in the modern world’
  • Dr Anna Klimaszewska from the Faculty of Law and Administration for organising the conference ‘Recent changes in the methodological approach to law’

The total amount of funding for projects carried out at the University of Gdańsk was PLN 185,654.70. We warmly congratulate the authors of the winning applications!
