The University of Gdańsk is celebrating its 55th anniversary this year and is organising a special event to mark the occasion: the World Alumni Convention, which will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Oliwa Campus.

The reunion will not only be an opportunity to meet up after many years, but also to revisit the university, take part in artistic events and talk to representatives of the academic community.

Programme of the event (in brief):

• 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - meetings of graduates in individual faculties of the University of Gdańsk,
• approx. 1:30 p.m. - group photo of the reunion participants,
• 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - main part at the Oliwa Campus:
  • official welcome by the Rector of the University of Gdańsk,
  • performances by artistic groups operating at the University of Gdańsk Academic Culture Centre,
  • informal conversations, memories, as well as refreshments for participants.

The detailed programme of the event will be available from April 17, 2025, on the website of the University of Gdańsk and in announcements on the university's social media.

The event is open to the public, but for organisational reasons, online registration is required, which must be done by May 10, 2025.
