Would you like to spend your time actively, meet new people and see the three campuses of the University of Gdańsk from a cyclist's perspective? Join the UG Bike Rally! We invite all members of the academic community to ride from Gdynia (the park opposite the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography) to Gdańsk (Oliwa campus), with a break at the Sopot campus. The rally will take place on Sunday, 19 October 2025. The event will end with a barbecue!

The route of the UG Bike Rally will cover approximately 16 km. The ride will start from Central Park in Gdynia (opposite the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography of the University of Gdańsk), then the route will lead through the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk in Sopot, and the finish will be at the main campus of the University of Gdańsk in Gdańsk (Oliwa campus), where you will be able to take part in socialising with snacks and music. The pace will be leisurely, so everyone should be able to keep up! MEVO bikes will also be available for participants, but their number is limited (first-come, first-served).

Registration of participants will take place from 10:30 to 11:30. The ride will start at 12:00.

Each participant in the ride is required to wear a bicycle helmet. For safety reasons, persons without helmets will not be allowed to participate in the event!

The organisers ask that you fill out a short preliminary survey available at the following link: https://forms.office.com/e/jJjq40KPMB.

The ride will take place in groups of 12 people. Each group will be assigned two guides - if you would like to take on the role of a guide and lead a group along the route, we encourage you to indicate this in the survey. This is a great opportunity to get even more involved in the event and work together to create an unforgettable atmosphere for the ride.
