Domówka UG is a carnival gathering of our community inspired by the atmosphere and memories of Polish house parties and private get-togethers from the 1970s and 1980s. We are bringing back the joy of being together in the relaxed atmosphere of social gatherings from years gone by: without rushing and screens, but with dancing fun at its best, good music and conversations that bring people together.

The event will take place on 13 February 2026 (Friday) from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, in the Tadeusz Ocioszyński Auditorium (119/121 Armii Krajowej Street, Sopot).
Domówka UG is a perfect occasion to connect in a laid-back atmosphere, dance, chat, and enjoy great fun to music that brings back the best memories of earlier decades.
Participation fee: 300 PLN per person
The price includes:
- a buffer featuring classic flavors of those times, including hot and cold dishes, snacks, and desserts,
- hot beverages, a traditional compote, and soda,
- a dance party with hits from past decades led by a DJ,
- a surprise show,
- a photo booth.
Outfits and accessories referring to the style of the mentioned decades are welcome. During Domówka UG, the best outfit will be awarded.

After the payment has been credited, tickets along with the invitation and table number may be collected at the Foundation for the Development of the University of Gdańsk, located in the Old Rectorate building
