What are the limits of our influence on energy resources? Is energy just a matter of physics, or is it also the key to understanding social dynamics and human creativity? These and other questions will be discussed at the ‘Release The Energy’ conference organised by students from three universities affiliated with the Daniel Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk: the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk. The deadline for registration is July 15.
‘If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.’ Nikola Tesla
Energy drives not only machines and economies, but also ideas, societies and culture. The aim of the conference organisers is to look at the issue of energy from different perspectives - from the technological challenges of the energy transition, through the economic and political consequences of global change, to philosophical and cultural reflections on the role of energy in civilisation.
The ‘Release the Energy’ conference will take place on October 22, 2025, during World Energy Day. Applications (both active and passive participants) are accepted until July 15. The deadline for submitting abstracts is July 25.
The conference is open to all issues related to energy in the broadest sense, including:
- energy transition and technological innovation
- energy policy and economics
- society, culture and energy
- environmental aspects in the context of energy
We cordially invite all students and doctoral students to join the discussion at the intersection of science and the humanities!
