The 2025/2026 academic year will be inaugurated by Gdańsk universities with the traditional Academic Parade of Fahrenheit University and the City of Gdańsk under the slogan ‘Long live science!’. The event will take place on Saturday, October 4. We invite you to join us!

We will gather at 10:30 a.m. by the Złota Brama in Gdańsk to assemble and at 11:00 a.m. march together along the Trakt Królewski, forming a colorful procession filled with symbols of academic tradition.

The parade will be accompanied by a plentiful artistic program, including the Gdańsk Academic Orchestra, stilt walkers, jugglers, motorcyclists, and mirror performers – all adding a spectacular touch to the event.

We invite you to participate — Let our joint march be the beginning of a year full of new ideas and inspiration!

• 10:15–10:50 - Participant assembly in parade order | Targ Węglowy near the Katownia

• 11:00 – Start of the parade with local government authorities, representatives of Pomeranian universities, and artistic groups
• 11:00–11:30 - Ceremonial march along Długa Street to the Artus Court forecourt
• 11:30–12:00 - Official speeches by local and university authorities, representative of the Fahrenheit Student Union, and announcement of the Fahrenheit Knowledge Contest results
