
Extended enrolment for 27 full-time first-degree programmes at the University of Gdańsk is still ongoing. Registration for most of them will end at the beginning of September.
You can also apply for some full-time second-degree programmes, uniform master's programmes, and part-time programmes. In total, there are almost 3,000 places available for candidates.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, the University of Gdańsk has prepared a total of 11,500 places in over 90 fields of study.
The number of places on courses with additional recruitment varies from one in Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Finance and Accounting - Financial Analyst, to several dozen in Russian Studies, International Economic Relations and Chemical Business.
On the websites providing information on the recruitment rules and deadlines (rekrutacja), candidates will also find descriptions of fields of study and the so-called graduate profile, i.e. the employment opportunities offered by graduation. For example, graduates of Chemistry at the University of Gdańsk have qualifications enabling them to find employment in companies, enterprises and businesses in the field of production, use and trade in chemical and pharmaceutical substances and preparations. They also have the competences to take up work in specialist analytical, industrial and control and measurement laboratories.

The University of Gdańsk is the largest in Pomerania. It offers comfortable studying conditions at one of three university campuses in Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. UG is highly rated in national and international rankings, such as Perspektywy and Times Higher Education, among others.
